Team Sets 2017 NFL League Attendance Record Due To Monster Jam Poster Error

The Philadelphia Eagles set a 2017 NFL league attendance record this past Sunday with 1,217 fans in attendance.

The team credits the surge in attendance to a misprinted Monster Jam poster that was circulating with the date of 12/24 instead of the correct 2/24 date.

“We weren’t really prepared for the surge in attendance,” said stadium manager Neil Nowamore. “We only had one concession stand open, and it wasn’t even the one with the slushy drinks.”

Attending Monster Jam fan Ricky Southmore was asked to describe the mix up, “Three words, ‘worst Monster Jam ever’.”
