2016 GOP Presidential candidate Jeb Bush finally fired back at Donald Trump at last night’s debate after months of criticism by the real estate tycoon.
Bush fired several zingers including, “I know you are but what am I?”, “Nope, you are”, and “You wish”.
Trump seemed stunned as the former Governor of Florida unleashed an “I am rubber and you are glue” on him.
Jeb got on such a roll that the when the moderators asked him to cut it short, he shot a barb back at them, “That’s what she said”. The comeback seemed to have the effect of rallying his base but confusing most, due to a lack of a humorous context.
The brother of former President George W. Bush had promised his supporters that he would no longer be pushed around by The Apprentice star, and it appears he lived up to that promise.
When asked by a reporter after the debate if he thought Trump liked his responses, Bush stated, “Well if he doesn’t he can kiss my grits! Oh, I should write that down for the next debate.”
