Hillary From Arkansas Eliminated From ABC’s Socialist Island

Popular contestant Hillary from Arkansas was eliminated from last night’s episode of ABC’s popular reality series Socialist Island, leaving only Bernie from Vermont and Marty Maryland. Last night’s episode was an elimination round for season seven of the series, fans could vote for their favorite contestant online with the hash tag #gimmeur$.

Hillary actually tied contestant Bernie from Vermont (made popular by his catch phrase, “Give me that it all belongs to me”) in fan votes but when deductions were made for missteps during the competition she was awarded the loss.

Some memorable missteps by Hillary from the show:

  • Episode one in the team building competition, Hilary left her entire team stranded while she sat back at the Socialist Mansion and watched YouTube videos. When docked 3 points she famously screamed, “Ha 3 points, what difference does it make?”
  • Episode three Hilary hid from cameras and used private messaging to drum up votes from other contestants and was almost kicked off of the show.

Bernie asked if in future episodes he could take every contestants vote and distribute as he saw fit. The hosts saw no issue with this suggestion, much to the chagrin of the audience and Marty. Bernie assured Marty and the audience that he knew what was the best use of their votes.
